the oblivious romance - James Macbeth.
anna was completely intimidated by her first film experience in the phantom of the opera, and it was only magnified knowing that her lover in the film would be portrayed by a more established young actor, james macbeth. looking up to james for his levelheadedness about fame, anna befriended him and it was at his suggestion that she auditioned for his next film, the italian job, winning the part of stella. the rest came naturally, and anna and james were soon very close friends. some of their favorite projects have been ones they've been in together, including pride & prejudice and, most recently, the other boleyn girl. over the years, james had felt strongly for anna, more than as a friend, but worried that she wouldn't feel the same has kept quiet, and anna was, and still is, completely oblivious to his feelings, even with his obvious jealousy for her romantic costars.

	Gah. When I try to reply, it tells me Replyto post not found (deleted?) Whatever. Anyway, I'd imagine they have become pretty good friends in filming. Jacque loves costume dramas and period pieces (so she's going for M-A too) and they share a few film credits so they've become friends by now. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	something fabulous for sure! they were in "Phantom of the Opera" together and it was Anna's first film, so they'd probably have become very close on set. I would like to see them staying close friends despite having very different careers, always hanging out when they're in the same city, etc. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Aw, I can see Zoe trying to help Anna out even though was the "star." I could see them staying good friends, and maybe Anna bugs Zoe in a friendly way to try movies again? Not over bearing, just a friendly suggestion, one Zoe might take up in the future? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	That sounds great! Anna would definitely want Zoe back into her realm of work, but they're both putting out CD's this year, so maybe that'll bring them back together somewhat. So yes, this is definitely good! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
